You lucky bird 

Birds always had a special relationship with humans in my early paintings and sculptures. They now return in my artwork. Birds are a wonderful symbol of freedom. They constantly have the choice to be here on the ground or to spread their wings.

I paint the birds with acrylic ink and acrylic on canvas. Then I cut and tear them out and make a background on canvas, wood or another material. I pay a lot of attention to the character of the birds I make. Each bird gets a different expression. No two birds are the same.
