My painting 'Flower Bombs' has been selected for the exhibition 'Kleurenpracht' by museum 'De Zwarte Tulp' in Lisse. Pleased with it!
In June, the selected artworks will be shown in 2 pop up galleries.

Acrylic and spraypaint on linen, 80x120 cm 2022

The title has therefore become Flower Bombs.
Why?
Nowadays you have those 'bombs' with flower seeds in them. You drop them somewhere and a beautiful field of flowers appears!
I would like to replace all the bombs in the world with seed bombs that don't destroy anything but give flowers! 😪

Vandaag naar de KunstRAI in Amsterdam geweest.
En dat bracht mooie herinneringen. 🥰
In 1996, toen ik 6 jaar kunstenaar was, werd ik voor de eerste keer op deze beurs gepresenteerd.
Ik was overrompeld én trots!
Had dat totáál niet verwacht!

Het was een zeer gerenommeerde beurs waar
galeries toen al 20.000 à 30.000 gulden voor een stand betaalden.
De galerie die me presenteerde was Galerie Hamer op de Leliegracht in Amsterdam. Het jaar erna wéér op de KunstRAI.
Ik heb erg veel te danken aan de galeriehouders Nico en Lily van der Endt.

Ik ben op een aantal beurzen gepresenteerd in de loop der jaren zoals de Art Fair Utrecht, Art Rotterdam, Art Den Bosch, maar de KunstRAI blijft speciaal.
Vandaar mijn kaartje dat ik nog steeds bewaard heb. 😄
